CASE STUDIES
Partner
Our client is a subsidiary of Europe’s largest telecommunications operator. The company provides telecommunications and information communication services to both the general public as well as for small, medium, and large enterprise customers.
Defined Development Points
The business goal was to create an integrated webshop solution that, in line with the latest user interface solutions, provides a quick reaction to changes in layout and feel, all while keeping webshop offers in the central service layer.
Advisory Area
Our tasks were extensive and ranged from examining possible solutions for specific business needs to final implementation. We took into account the existing features, which we used to create the front-end layer. We implemented the front-end design of the webshop in collaboration with the client’s other partner company. The webshop front-end design project took more than 3 months.
Partner
Our partner is a creative centre for software development and mechatronics; it provides customised solutions for all major desktop, web, and mobile platforms designed for notable oil and gas industry companies. The company works using agile development teams to create new software products as well as to continuously optimise existing developments.
Defined Development Points
To continue to provide high-level services to oil drilling companies, our partner urgently needed to refresh its existing software solution to achieve optimal utilisation and operation. We created a more modern, user-friendly graphical interface, resulting in faster performance that enhanced the user experience and made customers more satisfied. At the same time, fulfilling the new business needs became quicker and easier to implement, and the application grew more flexible. Thus, the partner could leverage these newly available resources to accomplish other tasks.
Advisory Area
Our task was to implement new functionalities in a business application required for resource management and work shift design for an oil drilling business. We designed the new interface, optimised back-end services, and implemented full functionalities on a new technological foundation.
Partner
Our customer is one of the major telecommunications service providers in Hungary, a market-leading cable television operator providing basic and enhanced video, broadband internet, and traditional circuit-switched and digital telephony (VoIP) services.
Defined Development Points
The existing sales and campaign support application operated with a very low SLA due to increased user numbers and technological deficiencies, shutting down several times a day, leading to business outages and user dissatisfaction. It became vital to take over the development tasks and the operation of the application, and also to perform the required business analysis and testing tasks.
Advisory Area
In addition to maintaining business functionality, the technological failures and shortcomings had to be corrected, and then new requirements needed to be implemented into an improved application. Today, the improved application has more than three times as many competing users as it did at the time of the takeover, and functionality has nearly doubled. We also developed an additional application optimised for mobile devices. The SLA stands at 99.97% continuously after the changeover, significantly reducing operator and helpdesk tasks with considerably less downtime and errors, making everyday work easier for users.
Partner
Our customer is the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, which is the national agency responsible for the protection of patent, trademark, and copyright issues.
Defined Development Points
The business goal in the first phase was to take over a few of the office’s existing software systems by providing application support while performing some urgent updates to these applications. After completing these tasks, we developed a custom software solution for handling documentation for incoming customer requests.
Advisory Area
Within the existing applications, we implemented image search functionality (JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF) as well as the ability to provide information related to new trademark and branding information, e.g. hologram, voice, etc. In another existing application, we boosted the error handling process so that the customers can receive the latest information within 24 hours. As a new assignment, we built a modern, online, and interactive terminal application that is meant for handling incoming customer request documentation along with providing a web application for administration purposes.
